Security & OpSec Manual
Mandatory operational security protocols. Mistakes in digital hygiene lead to catastrophic losses of identity and funds. Review this documentation thoroughly before accessing any decentralized network infrastructure.
Identity Isolation
Complete separation between your real-life identity and your darknet persona is the foundational layer of operational security. Cross-contamination is the primarily vector for structural failure.
- - Never mix identities: Do not use variations of usernames, monikers, or avatars that you have ever used on the clearnet.
- - Password entropy: Generate unique, complex passwords for every individual platform. Never reuse credentials from other sites.
- - Communication blackout: Never distribute personal contact information. Do not share Jabber, Telegram, or Session IDs that link back to your public persona.
Connection Verification
Hostile entities routinely deploy Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks by distributing spoofed network addresses via forums, wikis, and chat channels. Connecting to a compromised endpoint guarantees the interception of your credentials and financial deposits.
Mandatory Protocol: Verifying the PGP signature of the onion routing address is the only mathematically proven method to ensure connection authenticity. Do not trust addresses sourced from unverified third-party aggregators.
Example Verified Endpoint Data:
Tor Browser Hardening
The standard installation of the Tor Browser requires immediate configuration adjustments to minimize your digital fingerprint and protect against active exploitation vectors.
- - Security Slider: Navigate to settings and adjust your security level to "Safer" or "Safest". This disables dangerous features like WebGL and specific font rendering.
- - JavaScript Execution: Ensure NoScript is highly restrictive. Modern market architectures are designed to function without client-side JavaScript execution.
- - Window Sizing: Never resize the Tor Browser window from its default dimensions. Resizing provides adversaries with your exact screen resolution, generating a highly specific tracking fingerprint.
Financial Hygiene
Blockchain analysis firms actively monitor transactional pathways. Poor financial hygiene results in immutable, permanent links between your real identity and market activities.
Critical Failure
Never transfer funds directly from a regulated exchange (e.g., Coinbase, Binance, Kraken) directly to a market wallet address. This flags your KYC account immediately.
Standard Protocol
Always route funds through a self-custodial intermediary wallet (Electrum for BTC, official Monero GUI for XMR) before subsequent transfers.
Currency Selection: We strongly recommend utilizing Monero (XMR) over Bitcoin (BTC). Monero's protocol-level implementation of ring signatures and stealth addresses provides essential obfuscation that transparent ledgers lack.
PGP Encryption (The Golden Rule)
Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is non-negotiable. It is the only cryptographic barrier protecting sensitive transit data in the event of database seizures or server compromises.
- - Client-Side Only: All sensitive data (shipping addresses, private communications) must be encrypted on your local machine using software like Kleopatra or Gpg4usb before being pasted into the browser.
- - Prohibit Auto-Encrypt: Never utilize "Auto-Encrypt" checkboxes provided by website interfaces. Server-side encryption requires you to transmit plaintext data across the network, fundamentally destroying the purpose of asymmetric encryption.
- - Key Strength: Generate keys utilizing RSA 4096-bit encryption. Rotate keys periodically and independently verify the public keys of your communication counterparts.
